I don't hate the call in the 4th quarter of a primarily defensively focussed game.

Most coaches will do that in that exact scenario to potentially protect against losing by allowing one scoring drive (TD) over losing against 2 scoring drives (FG's) with that much time remaining.

But I can see the criticism of it as well.

If they make that 2 then they’re probably tied right now(assuming Georgia would’ve kicked and made the PAT). Don’t see any coach not going for 2 there.
