even think that prayer requests should be placed in the football forum, but put in general chat), but telling people what is acceptable and unacceptable to pray for sounds a little egotistical to me. When you show me the verse in your respective religious doctrine that says God doesn't care about the little things you are concerned about, please let me know.

I always thought the whole recruiting process was a little creepy, and this sort of cemented it.

I'm all for prayer, but what this is really saying is the OP wants God to favor Clemson, which I'm not too sure if the almighty has any favorite football teams. To me, it seems like as this is no different than praying Catanzaro hits a FG.

I'm not trying to sound like I don't want God to watch over the kids as they make a huge decision. It's just a little stretch to pray God watches over Dabo as he shows what "swag" Clemson has.

Just my opinion, though.

He’s praying that young people make a wise choice regarding where they want to get an education and spend the next 4 or 5 years of their lives. Why not pray that they meet wonderful new people that make them feel at home?
