34 here, but not much wind. Have to attend a graveside service tomorrow and it will be in the 20's with wind chill in the teens. I hope the officiant isn't long winded in those conditions...

29 in Easley eith a low of 16 in a.m. wind chill will feel like 6. Even colder Sat night. Low of 13.

32 at present in Chlt area. Was very windy in the afternoon. Low looks to be 18 at 7 am. Saw one golf course had shut down today till early next week. Temps forecast for the 60s next Wed thru Sunday, but with showers so no golf for me.

Knew it well! I believe the building is still there, but it has been closed many years. That section of 25 that ran in front of Rustic Lodge - by way of the ‘bean patch’ - was bypassed when they cut the four lane version of 25. My brother, who was 10 years older than me, loved that place, his favorite hangout.
If you also remember, 25 used to run up by the watershed. I would also drive my brother and his buddies up there and let them out to sneak to the lake to fish.
Ah, good times and great memories of my younger days!
Never in my life did I think I would eventually retire only 10-15 miles (as the crow flies) from my childhood home.
