He’s gonna dodge answering the questions just like they dodged Clemson. I get it playing Clemson is rough on recruiting and rough on the current players at the school. Not gonna miss out on the L this year. I say it’s a 40 point win and Dabo calls of the dogs mid way through the 3rd quarter.

No doubt there is a massive Clemson beat down of Fla State in the forecast.

If you can’t smell the stench of fear in Mike’s response you are lying to yourself. I’m sorry Brett, but that won’t be lived down…

he'll never do it... dabo won't jeopardize the players health just to stick it to someone.. as much as we'd love it.. not gonna happen. if (when) we whip 'em, it'll be by the same method that's worked the past 5 games.

I'm hoping for an epic beat-down, possibly the worst loss in FSU history. That would make me smile.

What you said right there is the biggest A$$ kicker. OK, you don't won't to play us, and that's just fine. We can load up and go back home. But sense you're the one's that backed out with us meeting every protocol set by the NCAA, and you still refuse to play, just give us every penny that it cost us to make the trip here, and there wasn't any reason for you to back out except, you were afraid to wear the butt kicking you would have gotten if you hadn't been so scared to play Clemson in your yard...
They at least owe us what it cost for us to make that trip to Florida, and if they refuse to pay us the cost we had invested to get there, then they are a useless piece of skunk s h i t that fakes being a Seminole Indian tribe with a fake Indian riding out on the field with a boy toy spear!!!

He is a good solid candidate for 2nd place in the ACC azzhat race. I have a feeling Dabo is going to light up the Criminoles this year as payback.

I think Norvell was a good hire for FSU and they may be good again, but it's going to take a while to recover from the way that Jimbo Fisher left the program. This is a mistake by Norvell and I am not sure Dabo will still be all that upset about last year. But, this could be an epic beating for FSU.

Dabo ran it up on GT last year because they dented up the turf around the outside of the field with their idiotic pregame lifting.
If you think he’s going to forget making his team travel down there then publicly implying he doesn’t care about player safety, I’ve got some oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you.

as our guys proceed to beat FSU as badly as they can. The final score is what will indicate just how we feel about that BS move FSU put on us last year.

I agree that he was a good hire. Frankly, I appreciate the way he is now handling this topic. His employer made the decision and he, as a first year coach/employee, has to be a company man. Yes, we can use this as motivation for the match up and yes, I hope we take them to the shed. But, from his perspective, there is nothing to be gained by dwelling on it.

If the situation were reversed, do you really think Dabo wouldn’t have been consulted on playing/not playing the game?
Or, more likely, is he using the school’s medical team as a human shield instead of admitting he didn’t want a beatdown of epic proportions?

I could be wrong, but I honestly believe a 1st year coach with a young team would have wanted to play this game to get experience for his players regardless of how badly they would've likely lost the game. They went 3-6 last year so a blowout loss to Clemson wasn't going to make the perception of their team or him as a coach any worse IMO. Those were important reps for his young players though.
I do think Dabo would've been consulted in the reverse situation, but I don't think the situation is the same because you're assuming that FSU officials would handle the situation the same as Clemson officials, and you're also comparing a 1st year coach to a coach that's won 2 national titles.

The Covid ate my homework isn’t going to play this time.
There’s something to workout alright. It’ll be done on the field this season, and by the end of it Florida State will wish they’d played the game last year.

... will be ROCKING!! It will probably be as loud as any other game I've watched there ... maybe with the exception of the Notre Dame "hurricane" game.
That game was loud from the first minute to the last. I was soaked to the bone and my expensive water resistant watch died that day. ">" But it was worth it!! Bring your own guts boys!!

Norvell is in a no win situation. FSU cancelled the game. It was the midical personnel and administration decision. But, no matter what Norvell says it will only add fuel to the fire, as if Clemson players need any more motivation to hang 70 on FSU.
If I were advising Norvell, I would have advised him to call Dabo months ago and have a private conversation. Apologize to Dabo and assure him that it was not Norvell who made the decision. (Who knows? That may have happened.)
But, I suspect Dabo has moved on from it, except for - on game week - reminding his coaches to remember what FSU did to them last year and "If you want to mention that to the players (wink, wink) this week, that might be a good idea."

I agree Brett, but it seems he is set to die on that hill. Idk if for fear of the admin or what, but he knows they should have played and he should be man enough to make a phone call knowing what Dabo said was fair and true. That is certainly what Dabo would have done.
