not winning in big games. The guy really got the team up for some games, and then there seemed to be an inexplicable lack of focus or preparation (or something) in other games.

I don't have any bad feelings at all with TB. He had done a lot of good things in the up grading of the facillities at Clemson. Tommy's hard work in getting the football facillities out off the 19th centry is the very reason that Clemson is able to recruit against any school in the country. As far as I'm concern, the things he got done was worth the money he took with him on his way out. Now his mother is a different story. But I will keep those negative thoughts to my self....

took him too long to get rid of people, too long to get rid of J hines, Spence, bScott, etc
just wish he had insisted in a meaner O-line and never allowed that zone blocking scheme to be used.
Tommy moved our program forward after the Admin fired Danny and hired 2 mistakes that just about ran the program into the ground.

We are favored over Auburn. It's not an upset when the favorite wins. Obviously, Tommy has lots to learn regarding the TV and analysis business.

You don't have a home and an away poll...if we win, it will be an upset according to the coaches and the AP.

Auburn last year on the road. They lost more starters than we did. And we have them at the Valley. I guess the Vegas boys are looking at it the same way I am.

(even though both teams playing right now are overrated). I still think Auburn, with it's winning streak and defending it's title, is expected to win this game by the coaches and the AP, as is evidenced by the polls. I never consider any Clemson win an upset (I am crazy in that I think we should win them all), but I would consider a win on Saturday somewhat surprising (based on our first two games).

And SCAR is #10 in the AP; so much for polls.

Auburn is a shell of its national championship team, with all the starters lost. And they have been outplayed in their first 2 games. That's why I'll be stunned if the Vegas boys got this wrong.

The fact remains though that they feel that Clemson is likely to win and thus, is the favorite.

Seeing AU is #21 and we're not ranked, that would be an UPSET. they don't go by Vegas

The money guys have Clemson favored. And money is what makes the world go around. As Deep Throat in "All The President's Men" said: "Follow the money".

by this logic, picking Oklahoma to beat FSU is an upset

OU is favored by 4 just like Clemson is.
Picking a 4 point favorite IS NOT an "upset special".

In that case, Auburn should run Wofford's offense.***

Hopefully they do run Woffords offence. The good guys wasn't into playing Wofford as they say, and I believe that. I'm sure that all of us has done things in our lives that we loved doing. But we slacked on it when we believed the challenge didn't seem to be there for what ever reason or the other....
