Has anyone watched the Peyton & Eli MNF show?

If so, what are your thoughts?

Axing for a friend.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

I enjoy it.

I'm not a big NFL fan, so I would just as soon listen to banter while the game is going on as listen to the play by play.

i watched the first one when they had barkley and others....

I don't watch the nfl but there was alot of build up. I watched for about 10-15 minutes and then realized that it was awful. It was alot of comments about nothing. Peyton asked barkley what position jordan would play in football. Barkley said he would play tight end. I really don't understand why anyone would want to watch a game while guys are just rambling on about various topics that are mostly not about the game. You could get the same thing by going to a bar and listening to other people talk about.

That's pretty similar to my assessment...

They had Michael Strahan on last night. Again, just a group of guys rambling on about things that were mostly unrelated to the game. I know they're trying to make it entertaining but it's not...it's just not.

It's the male version of The View but with sports...........

I find it hilarious that the morning radio talk shows rave about it. But they also talk about what happened last night on Twitter. So I just chalk it up to things that weren't meant for me.

and eli just isn't meant to be on TV. Whatever "it" is..

isn't with him.

reminds me of the TV show they tried to put Gronk on.. Apparently a real fun guy to hang out with but just doesn't translate to TV.

Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”

I think it is great and has its moments

I also don't like the normal play by play on normal channel

I enjoy it. These are just games for entertainment we don’t need to take em all so seriously. If it was a playoff game or the super bowl I would probably watch the regular broadcast, but again they would probably focus more on strategy and less on the guests if it was a big game like that. For a regular season game it’s a cool change.

Plus they’re pulling in almost 2 million viewers so it ain’t going anywhere.

About 10 minutes one night. I kept expecting something good out of these two but it never happened. Total bust as far as I can tell, but then again, I do not kneel down at the Temple of Manning as so many seem to do. Dopy Opey and Elephant man do not impress as commentators.

No, but I am waiting for when they add that third partner, Tom Brady. After all they are the only 2 quarterbacks who have anything near a successful head to head match-up.
