Actually, their assistant coach had to resign because impermissible benefits to recruits.

“LaBarrie was found to have taken a prospect (former Pace Academy and Duke star Wendell Carter) to a strip club during a November 2016 official visit and set up a meeting with a booster (former Tech star Jarrett Jack) and then not been truthful when confronted by NCAA investigators. (LaBarrie has acknowledged arranging the trip to the club, calling it an egregious mistake in a career of following NCAA rules. He also said that he panicked when he was initially untruthful with investigators, but came clean the following day.)”
Also, pastner’s felon friend Ron Bell was always around the team and is a known scum bag. He was classified as a booster by the NCAA

Just another reason its time for change with us. 11 years of mediocrity. Tech has just passed us in Pastner 5th year. With a guy he was told could not play in the ACC and a player who only had one D1 offer and is now Player of the year.
We need someone to get us to that level. After almost 70 years in the ACC no tournament Championships and only two finals.
