Gotta give the Louisville OL credit...

Oct 4, 2016, 6:24 PM

99 snaps played against a very talented DL. That's nearly 500 individual match-ups and not a single hold!! Not 1 in 500! Wow! What discipline! Oh sure, there were 5 sacks and 4 or 5 false starts but they drew the line at holding. Very noble of them.

Outstanding! Well done. Petrino and crew need to take their sour grapes and stick them where the sun don't shine.

Great observation...I didn't realize there were ZERO holding calls made, which I should have because I certainly was yelling for a much during the game. Guess as you've pointed out that the refs decided to not make those calls, after all, they needed LJ to put on a show for ratings/publicity/etc...and calling holding penalties might've made the OL not do it which would've ended up (likely) getting LJ killed out there.

Didn't you hear that we paid off the refs?

I watched the replay, and in all fairness

there were less than 120 holding penalties... in the 2nd half... on Louisville...with not a single one called. Ron Cherry would have had a field day. Oh, wait... the penalties would have been against Louisville, so Ron would have remained silent.

To say it was ridiculous, would be to stretch the meaning of the word.

They were at least 99 holds. Kind of like when we play Georgia Tech, if you call them all, The game will never end. so I guess the decision was "call none"
