“Over the last eight seasons, the Tigers have either led the nation in tackles for loss or ranked second in the country seven times.”

We. Too. Deep.

Hope we can hit similar #s w/a 4 man front & not have to rely on exotic blitz packages

Depth and inexperience was an issue last year,

Jul 14, 2021, 5:13 PM

but that won’t be the case this year, Lord willing. This will be the closest thing we’ve seen to the Power Rangers and possibly even better given the quality depth.

I can’t wait.

“Clemson’s D-line continues to be college football’s best” I like it!

If not this year, then next year...

will be our best D-line ever. Tyler Davis, Bryan Bresee, Myles Murphy on the same line just isn't fair.

I'm sure at least one other player (between KJ, Capehart, XT, Foster, Tre, Swint) will step up to be a 4th stud. Depth will be insane.

Next year, we lose Tyler but Bresee and Murphy may step up to be our best two D-linemen ever while the current youngsters will have another year to raise their game.

I'm expecting plenty of sacks and tackles for losses.

It's going to be a monster group. But 2018 was probably the best defensive line in the history of college football. Not saying this group can't be even better, but that's a tall ask.

I think Trey Sermon is still running

Little different convo this year.

Jul 14, 2021, 8:36 PM

Last year’s defense involved a 3-man front with the likes of Nyles Pinckney and a couple true freshmen.

This year’s DL will be better in both scheme and personnel - no comparison.
