Friday night, beer share then Home Team for supper, we were the last people in there because nobody was getting drunk at the bar, I hate being the last customers in a place.
Saturday, haircut then pretty lazy.
Sunday, got the last of the Chrimast stuff down, and build my frickin' laser.

Friday - Did nothing. Binge watched season 7 of Billions. Ate at Burger King.
Saturday - Watch Clemson lose to Tarholes, at cereal while the wife went shopping.
Sunday - Ate short ribs and pasta salad. Watched football all day and night.
Quiet weekend.

Fri - I burned a huge pile of brush I had from the building construction
Sat - Home most of the day, played pickleball on the home court, went to Keowee for Bunko with old people.
Sun - Church in the morning, took my boat to Home Depot to haul 16 ft boards and plywood to start building shelves.

a little karaoke, drank some beers
Sat - Party at friends house. Elephant gift exchange or whatever it is called, little one got what she wanted out of it (some kind of writing journal). Left Right Center, did not win. Drank some beers.
Sun - chilled and watched football. Music bingo with the wife and little one in the evening. Wings were good.
Overall good weekend. Didn't get all Christmas stuff down as we planned, oh well.

Sat & Sun kinda half watched NFL, it just ain’t CFB. Made a big pot of Southwest Soup comfort food Sat
and cast-iron cooked steaks Sun nite.

Wife got it worse, but the congestion is worse for me. Paxlovid doses for both of us, helped her more than me.
Fish lost and get to go to KC to lose to the Chiefs next week.
Jags lost and out of the playoffs.
Tigers lost and we are now all expecting another disappointing season in ACC play.
Not a great start to 2024.

so it was pretty meh
Clemson Basketball took a big Brown L in their pants, two in a row
Arsenal just rolled around in their own excrement at the goal for the 4th match in a row, otherwise played great. Cannot win if you cannot score goals.
Jacksonville pisssed down their leg, again.
Charlotte Panties just kept on keeping on.
I did take down the Christmas lights to official end Christmas.
Ate decent, did some shopping, found a pair of Lulu shorts for 40% off. Took the dogs to Carolina Beach State Park to walk a little. Watched daughter's volleyball practice.
Looking forward to warmer weather and beach time.

did tons of laundry put away all our ski stufff and put away some of the Christmas decorations. Saturday, basically hung out with the kids all day. Sunday, skipped church and my son and I went to Lions game.
Overall a great weekend.

Fri.: Leftovers and family movie night. We watched the original Aladdin. A.
Sat.: Wifeof worked so I had the boys. With impeccable teamwork, they traded off which one was whining/crying/disobeying all day. Weather was bad so we were trapped inside. A grocery run was all I could accomplish. We did have a bright spot in the afternoon making a great Brio train track with tracks received at Christmas. Grilled cheese for dinner. Then bought a new laptop. C.
Sun.: First time back at church in weeks due to holiday. Chores and errands. Went on a long walk with the family in the afternoon. Dinner was chicken thighs, mashed potatoes, and mustard greens from the garden. A.

Friday night, homemade pizzas, cold Schlitz, AEW.
Saturday, chores, went to watch AEW Collision live in Charlotte. Got there early to watch the Ring of Honor matches being taped, saw an epic main event as FTR beat House of Black, then stayed for a few more of the ROH matches being taped.
Sunday, long hike at the park with the pup, grocery run, pulled a muscle in my back slinging a 20 lb. bag of cat food in the car at the grocery, and pretty much laid up in The Big Chair all night watching Tulsa King.
18/19 Covids because the back thing is a complete day-killer.

Spent the whole weekend working in the shop on a new table I'm giving away this weekend, along with epoxy samples for the home show.
I'm pretty excited - the booth is coming together nicely, and I'm expecting to have a pretty big space for things. Starting to get things together to post on youtube and instagram, so those should start to get more content out, which is great, because I want to be able to schedule more to keep an audience engaged, and it can be a chore when you're introverted.
On the other side, I've got an app ready to launch in the app store, so that should be happening sometime in the next month or so, and be a good co-branding opportunity.

Friday...met friends for dinner, incl kids, at Sullivan's. Was good.
Saturday...wanted to sleep in, but up at 5am 'cause old and can't turn off internal alarm clock. Watched first half of BB game...couldn't shoot, but close. Took daughter-of and friend to gym and back to watch last 10 minutes of game. Still couldn't shoot and game got away from us. UNC's defense was very good and they deserve credit for a lot of poor shooting performance. Turned in Spectrum cable boxes and old modem at UPS store and was surprising simple. Dropped their cable and phone and upgraded internet service to 1 Gpbs and switched to Youtube TV. Total monthly savings is good. Watched some streaming shows with wife and dinner at home.
Sunday...hit WH for breakfast. Caught up on chores. Took down most Christmas stuff. Watched football and did some work work.

what a f'n nightmare.
much slower trip than normal, thanks to the weather
idiots all over the road...
saw at least 6 vehicles that had gone off the road and the aftermath of two wrecks on I-26, one of which was horrible and left small-car pieces, including two wheels, scattered along the highway. SCHP and an ambulance was there, but the person (body?) was still in what was left of the car (it was so f'd up i don't know what it was)
had a family funeral to attend on Friday and wanted to get back for the basketball game.. we barely made it after leaving Fernandina Beach at 4 a.m. thinking we would have time to go home and change, etc... nope. drove straight to Littlejohn.

his health is bad so Mama moved him in. He can't work. He can sure eat. I keep telling him that's part of the problem. He keeps eating. Lays on his ### all day because his back hurts. He went through therapy. It didn't help. I don't trust him. He's been a dumba$$ all his life. Now he's paying for it.
Clemson lost to UNC. We fall in love with the 3. Don't hit them so lose.

Sucked. Drove home in a cold rain to see my best friend since the seventh grade for the last time. Fock cancer. We had a very quiet ride back here yesterday.
