expected to have their best team in years(#5). After the last two with them, I would like to have ANY advantage over them. I guess this is what we should want to validate our high ranking early on. It would be a great victory for us over any Jawga team, even if they were not ranked as high. First game just makes me a little nervous. Beat the Dawgs!

I agree with the defensive losses, but their early ranking has a lot of COACHES convinced. I truely believe that we are ready for them and will get the win, but am catoiusly optimistic. It will definitely be a game we will discuss here for YEARS! Go Tigers!

played like Central Michigan to open the season.
Just so much risk for both programs. Someone is gonna lose this game, and whoever loses is going to have to forget about really quickly.

Agreed. This game is NOT the whole season. It would be awesome to win it, but the FSU and SCU games are both much more important IMO.

If we win, we are assured to move up a at least a couple of spots, whereas if we beat them ranked lower, the result probably wouldn't be as good.
Personally, even though I'd like to blow them out of the water, I think a close one in our favor would be good. Don't want our players to buy into "the hype" too much after one game...focus needs to stay constant throughout. GO TIGERS!

Look at the bright side. At least we start the new series at home. We kind of lucked out on that one.
Next year the game being at georgia will have much less of an advantage than this year, because neither team will be ranked as highly and have as much to lose.
