Myth about the portal

The portal is not the same option for Clemson as it is for many other schools. Until some rules are out in place about tampering with players before they are actually in the portal then it is largely irrelevant to us. Dabo won’t recruit a player before he is in the portal.
All the good ones are gone before they are actually in the portal.

Dabo must adapt. Dabo wants excuses not to use the portal. He is an idealist. You know what happens when idealists won't get down off their high horse.

My guess is that Dabo just using the portal might mitigate some of the tampering. Stands to reason that there are players out there who we could compete for and win, tampering or not.

First, that's a heck of a charge that needs to be backed up.

Second, how would it hurt Clemson to use the portal. Are you saying Clemson is not an attractive destination for portal transfers?
