Just one day after Neff announced CBB is coming back, but prior to the end of the season, without even having an in depth conversation with his head coach. Now Chauncey Gibson is leaving for the portal the day after our disappointing season ends. What is going on in that locker room?
You guys are clueless. Why would he NOT go get his money? You staple your emotional problems to others. By all reports, PJH is a happy go lucky kind of guy. And very successful. So the opposite of most Tnetters. There is no way that you can understand. So should he want to hang around and get injured again? No matter the coach? It’s raining - BBs fault. Drought - BBs fault. Stock market is crazy - BBs fault too. You got too drunk - BBs fault. Your wife cut the water off - BBs fault again. If I was BB, I’d retire right now, count my money, and let this portion of idiots rot.

This is just the beginning of Brad's spring cleaning. These two clearly were not all in and Brad is ridding the locker room of these cancers. I fear this year's success has only emboldened him to unleash his wrath. There certainly will be more casualties in the coming days.
Would you be willing to sell one of your monkeys? I need one to tend to the trailer when i am away, feed the cats, make sure the oven is off, keep the AC at 72, ect...
I could probably put one of those post surgery cones on Jasper, my Cat, I do not think mr Pickles would be able to swallow him because collar would make is difficult.

Chauncey leaving is the typical couple of exits each year from Clemson basketball. - He did not play much. He did not show much either in limited time. Wish him well.
PJ Hall declaring. - My guess he did it to get feedback. I do not see PJ Hall as playing in the NBA. I do not see him getting drafted, based on his talent level as of March 16, 2023. - I do not think he is big enough to be down low in NBA. He is not skilled enough to be a stretch forward, i.e. ball handling, create his own shot, even passing. He will definitely need to highly improve on 3PT%.
Brings us to NEFF, and here is where I agree with you. He acted too quickly. I wish he would have answered all the "what is he gonna do" stuff with this...
When questioned about CBB, he should have said , " The season is not over. Brad and I will talk about future of Clemson Basketball at the end of the season... like we always do. Go Tigers! Let's keep supporting this team."
I for one am glad you are stopping. You are one of the most ignorant posters ever. You obviously think very highly of your own opinion, unlike the rest of us - RockHillTiger

Don’t worry, I’m sure Brad told Chauncey and PJ to leave because he has his eye on some much better Division II transfers that will hit the portal in a few weeks.
PJ didn't hire an agent so will almost assuredly not going anywhere as many players have done previously. Gibson is a freshman who hardly played. Most every team will lose a player or two to the transfer portal these days and hopefully we will benefit from a couple good ones coming our way. Please don't make things sound like something terrible is going on behind closed doors or something because you don't know squat.
The NBA draft is only two rounds. I just can't imagine the guy getting drafted. He's a good ballplayer, but an extra year would allow him to improve his stock.

You’d think he’d be aware that he isn’t going to be drafted. Despite everyone’s insistence that this is “a good idea” PJ Hall isn’t draftsble. There are only 60 picks over two rounds. The highest evaluation I’ve seen is 87th. That would require a 4 round draft. But he isn’t even listed on most boards. Less than half drafted picks are non-freshman college players. Virtually none are seniors. The first round is almost exclusively freshman and foreign players. He isn’t going to get an evaluation that says improve “xyz” and you’ll move from second to first round or into a lottery pick. He isn’t going to be drafted this year and he isn’t going to be drafted next. It’s not even meant as a dig at PJ Hall. It’s just a numbers game. He is probably more acutely aware of this than I am.
His services could probably earn him more in NIL at another program than in returning to Clemson or going pro.
