I agree, Coot mentality.

Um, no, they brought us to the brink of an upset. Don't pretend as if this was a game that was in control which looked closer because of a late touchdown. If they recovered the last onside kick, they could have won the game.
They're a Group of 5 team that pushed the #2 ranked team in the nation to the edge on their home field...they deserve to feel good about themselves.

100% agree, Troy played a heck of a game and could have gone home with the Win. They gave the Tigers a run and should be proud. They played hard to the last minute.

our basketball team after an NIT loss?
School spirit should be applauded. These guys are working hard. Its nice to see them appreciated when or lose. Maybe some Clemson fans should take some pointers.

If our wins have been so great, as the Coaching staff indicates - where's all the dancing this year?

We'd rather rip the fans of a 36-point underdog for being proud of their team than face the fact that we should mop the floor with a team like that. I need some of y'all's medication

Agreed. Give their fans, team, and coach credit

They came here, fought hard, and took advantage of mistakes in a game where no one thought they had a chance of even keeping the scoring margin within single digits.
The Coots are a false comparison here. The resources that have been thrown into that bottomless pit are colossal, whereas Troy is still building. They joined Div. 1A in 2001. The Coots should expect to win. Troy should celebrate a tough battle by a young team, young coach, and building program.
Anyway, hopefully we Tiger fans can stop thinking about Troy soon.

What's up with the inflammatory title? They're a Group of 5 team that brought #2 to the brink of an upset. They deserve to puff their chests out a little.

Inflammatory or defamatory? But I agree, they played their hearts out and gave basically every team in the country a film to study on how to take our bread & butter off the table.

Good for them, played their ### off and made the better team look meek and timid. Tigers celebrate win but Troy played us tough and gained confidence playing us down to the wire!!

Troy will likely have a bowl game to celebrate. I see them going 7-5 at least.

This title is so misleading....

I don't think they are celebrating a loss. They are celebrating how their team represented the school against #2 football team in the nation. They were proud that their team played in a hostile environment and didn't get embarrassed, but held their own. They are showing their team that they are proud of them. And they should be happy. The team knew what the spread was in this game and they defied it.
To say they are celebrating a loss is not even close to what they were doing.

They bloodied our nose and walked away in pride... Why shouldn't they celebrate? What I long to see is the same type of play from our guys... or better, the dominance of being an elite team that is consistent.
