I thought Dabo didn’t allow freshmen to talk to the media? Am I getting this mixed up?

A lot of "rules" have been thrown out the window on everything over the last few years. Dabo was forced to give up the in-season social media ban when the social justice movement reached its feverish pitch. Maybe he had to give up the freshman interview ban when NIL became a thing?

I think that has been his stated policy before, but I've noticed in the last couple of years that he apparently makes exceptions if the freshmen has a good head on his shoulders and is well spoken! Still believe he tries to limit their exposure to the media.

Been doing it after the first game action for a while see Deshaun postgames as a freshman.

The rule was and is that a freshman cannot interview until after they actually play in a game. So once Cade played he is available for interviews.

Great interview.

Either there is no controversy in the QB room or Cade is preparing for a career in politics. (His ability to lie with a straight face is unsurpassed by even the most seasoned politician.)

All the interviews today were of freshman... Blake Miller, Wade Woodaz, Antonio Williams, and Cade Klubnik.
