America didn’t say a prayer before the game. Well, maybe second biggest shock after Clemson failed to make the trip to South Bend. But after seeing the Basilica, the Grotto, TD Jesus and they didn’t even give thanks pregame. Makes me prouder of our game day atmosphere and our tradition of interfaith prayers.

Didn’t they say one during the game? Not having a thing to get excited about by then I was bored and cold and not paying much attention to the loudspeaker. I do remember they invited everyone to mass 30 minutes after the game. I was surprised they turned the lights off Touchdown Jesus during the game.

Unless it was when they were cheering the Priest. I couldn’t tell what was going on with that break. I did hear the Mass after the game which I should have attended to seek forgiveness for the vengeful thoughts I was thinking during the game.
