He might have shown to be a good special teams player for the NFL

Think he comes back now. But it speaks more to allow players to opt out. For this reason. Its not our money on the line.

I think Ship really wanted to play. Really feel for the kid and I hope it is not serious.

Totally agree. If you are a 100% or really close to dfraft player, it's not worth the risk. Most have their degree, which is goal #1 if we are being totally honest about the process. An injury could've cost Ship multi millions of dollars if he were a senior. Once you commit to the draft you don't play in these exhibition games. Think about your personal financial struggles throughout your lives. What would say 3 million dollars have done for you and your family.

He was going to stay anyway. RB's have to be crazy good not just good to get anywhere in the NFL. Plus he has yet to demonstrate that he has cured his fumblitis.

I feel sick about Shipley's injury. I hope it is not too bad and that it doesn't end up adversely impact his future NFL career. I was on the 4th row in the stadium and they loaded him on the cart right in front of our seats. He looked like he was hurting badly physically and emotionally.

That young man gave his all to Clemson, including on that runback. All the critics of Shipley disgust me.

Plus I'm sure he makes good coin at Clemson. Might as well come back and rehab the knee. Then go pro 2025.

Hate to see these injuries. Good news is RB s can come back from these types of injuries these days.
