Does anyone else feel like I do?

This post is not meant to be negative towards others or political. This is just my feelings as of late. I love sports, sports of all types. Lately, maybe the past 24 months, I find myself losing interest in the sports I love. I love Football but really enjoyed watching all sports but in the last couple of years I don't find myself getting excited for football season like I used to. I don't find myself taking off work for opening day of baseball or even going to that many games. I am sure Covid, political agendas, etc; have played a part in my feelings but that is not the main reasons I have lost interest. I used to watch ESPN or other sports channels regularly. Id watch tennis, golf, racing, anything involving sports.

It is tough for me because this time of the year August-December was my favorite time of the year for sports. College Football, NFL, start of basketball and hockey, etc. However, now I find myself not even caring. Don't get me wrong, I will be watching my Tigers play this fall but the level of excitement is no longer there and it saddens me. I wish I could get back to loving sports like I did 5 years ago. Now I find it a struggle just to go to a game in person. What has changed? The Sports? The athletes? The political landscape? Maybe its all of those. Or, maybe it is just me.
