$85,000 Per Pass Attempt??? ----
May 28, 2014, 9:18 AM
|
|
Let me loosen up my arm....I don't care about the popping and cracking sounds I may hear each time I throw. I just need to throw it about 5 times.
Anyway what a pure gentleman's way of settling something. Sure beats the 10 pace turn and shoot stuff.

...the best job in the world is a benchwarmer in the top 3 sports leagues... you minimize injury risk thereby extending your years as trade-bait but still make millions annually which sets up a posh lifestyle today and for retirement... and the best part of this is the only requirement is that you stay in shape, who wouldn't wanna do that??? ...makes me lament not taking baseball seriously as a youngster...

Not sure why people are surprised?

Punters are gym rats. There were Punters that out bench pressed Clowney and others...
Literally all Punters do is kick the ball over and over and work out in the gym.. Not really a surprise here.

Punters...
May 28, 2014, 11:49 AM
|
|
Punters do nothing but Kick and work out in the gym. I worked for the Panthers in the early 2000s. John Kasay was one of the strongest guys on the team, bench press included. Easily could have beat any QB, WR, DB on the team in arm wrestling. Really the only guys I would say could have beaten him were the big uglies on the lines. So, Whitehurst is getting old, and probably didn't put much into the arm wrestle. He would hate to mess up that $85,000 per pass throwing arm wouldn't he? Best job in the country is Charlie Whitehurst's - disagree?
