Deer TNET overlord developers, I have a suggestion.

I would like to suggest an option to create an emergency contact on the user profile.

This could be purely optional and should be made available for view by the mods only.

You could also give a menu of contact options:
Please contact if I have not logged on for X number of days.

Obviously you would need to include an indemnity clause of some sort, but this would allow inquiries into the health and well being of long time posters who have gone silent.

I have been posting on TNet for 20 years and hope to continue for the next 30 to 50, but if I did not log on for a couple of months I would like my fate known to the community and would gladly allow a member of TNet to inquire about my absence.



Anybody else think this would be a good idea?

EDIT: Sorry about that, I had a glitch while posting response and it apparently deleted the body of the message when I hit the back arrow.

I like the idea for a secondary account owner should something happen to the primary.

Understandable, I have already instructed my wife what to do if something happen to me, and I wouldn't be returning to T-Net. I gave her the names of a few people here that I believe to be my Tiger friends, and she will send them T-mail letting them that I've passed on to be with Jesus in Heaven!!!
