I’m sure he did, but it’s been a while since EA Sports’ last release of NCAA Football. ??

His bio says he is a graduate of Mississippi state. I checked their media guide and he is not listed on the roster of all time letter winners. Strange.

Most of the time the front man gets the credit while the real power is behind the thrown. BV was good, but Goodwin was the guy that supposedly "stole the signals". He helped the Arizona Cardinals get to a playoff game. Apparently the player like him very much.

Mike Leach, David Cutcliffe, and a host of others never played football. I don't believe that's a good measuring stick.

You think Clemson is too high and mighty to have someone cut their teeth on coaching? You have obviously forgotten that not all that long ago there were some pretty lean years.
The rain man comment is uncalled for and pretty dagum disrespectful.

I don't think anyone thinks Clemson is too high and mighty for someone to cut their teeth coaching at. Most believe, and rightly so, that Clemson is too high and mighty for someone to cut their teeth coaching as their DC.

you.
Not claiming I'm the strongest person or a bad ###, but I am much stronger than the average American male. I was skinny as a youth, and when I see people from my youth that haven't seen me in years they are surprised by how much muscle I have added over the years. So highly unlikely you could do anything to me if challenged me. Most likely I would just shove you to the ground and tell you take your loss like a man without even punching you.

I believe Paul Johnson was a student assistant coach at Western Carolina. I know people don’t like him, but he was a successful coach.
I think Goodwin did the same thing at Mississippi State. Actually a smart move. If you’re not good enough or big enough to play, just go ahead and get into coaching at that same young age if you love it.
