Being a program builder - I think Brad would be a perfect fit for WV. In 20-25 years he would probably have them in the NCAAs at least every leap year.

I don’t think there is much interest in him being hired away outside of our own fans including me. They would probably like to go to tournaments and win against teams like morehead st if I had to guess.

I bet so, that seems to have been the #1 thought of our Clemson AD's also, bc it hasn't been about a coach that can win championships!!! With Clemson mostly being known as a FB first school, winning more than you lose with a good reputation of doing things the right way is what I believe has kept Brownell around so long as our Head Basketball Coach. I also think that someone a lot higher up than the AD has had something to do with keeping Brownell around so long with only making the NCAA tournament only a few times in more than 10 years....

Said differently, why would CBB be interested in WVA? Traveling a million miles per year to play conference games and a fan base which seems indifferent to character issues based on how long Bob H was at the helm.

just realized even if Coach Brownell was considered for the job the search committee for WVU would probably realize that coach got a tech for having 6 players on the court that lead to a loss vs their Mountaineers and say no thanks.
