Might Murphy take out his frustrations of not winning the natty against LSU on Joe Burrow one day in practice ? 😉

LOL. He wasn't on the 2019 team though. 2020-2022.

Was glad to see both he and Bresee go in the first round.

I hope they are right. I don't want to see ANY Clemson

player be an NFL bust. Butt, if you pinned me down on the "most likely to bust" out of this years Clemson draft class, Murphy would be the guy. Hopefully he quickly realizes just how ruthless the NFL is, and knows he will have to ball out from Day One, if he expects to stay in the league for very long.

"spoiled and entitled..." really?
Apparently this "all-anonymous format" includes Coots posing as scouts who know something! Sure we have some that don't work out or last too long, like everyone else but I bet you if you measured "success" by whatever metric you choose, and compared across the NCAA our percentage of success would probably be in the top tier.
Having said that, Murphy still scares me a little bit so I really hope he matures and learn to work every play. When you enter a rotation at that level you'd better perform every single play you are in because, unlike college, the other guy is every bit as good and every year those younger, faster and stronger guys show up to take your job!
Good luck Myles and Bryan - leave your egos at the door and get to work.

Charlotte is the only NFL team that has not drafted a Tiger?
Easy to ignore their dumpster fire……

Clemson players "spoiled and entitled, likely to be busts?"

Sounds to me like that article was penned either by a Bama homer, or even worse, a Coot. Sour grapes on the one hand, or par for the course on the other.

Could be from some of the posts on this board...

This post and so many others have echoed specifically that Murphy quit on the team, took plays off, didn't play hard, should have had more production, was not the best that he could be, is not going to translate to the NFL, etc. ad nauseum since the ramp up to the draft... one comment on this thread said they would have pegged Murphy as most likely to bust, so, there you go...

To the idiot NFL scout in this article who said that he has been burned so many times on Clemson defensive linemen, I want to know something. Did you get burned on Dexter Lawrence or Christian Wilkins? Better yet, how does your boss feel about the four full rounds of the draft that went by while you sat on your hands and did not insist to your boss that he should draft Grady Jarrett? How is that decision playing out for you now? Actually I know you did not learn your lesson on Grady Jarrett because you sat on your hands even longer the next year while someone smarter than you picked up DJ Reader in the middle of the fifth round.

Maybe you should have said you got burned by all the Clemson defensive linemen that you were too incompetent to take...
