happened.

Last weekend, attended a birthday party for the grandson of my favorite Coot niece. Niece was hosting it in their big 'Mancave" detached garage. Probably 40 or so people in attendance. Now, the grandson is ONE year old, so the party was mostly for him to layer his face with chocolate cake, and the adults to consume some adult beverages, or so it seemed.

I got into a conversation with my nieces adopted son, who is also a Coot supporter, although he didn't attend. He went to a flight school in South Dakota, and is now a commercial pilot, just starting his career, flying for Piedmont Airlines out of Charlotte.

The pilot's lady is from Minnesota, they met at flight school. After the party had started to wind down, he reminded her that they needed to get on the road, because.... they were meeting a bunch of Coot friends at a bar in FIVE POINTS. I started laughing, and said, "Wait a minute, I thought Coots drinking in FIVE POINTS was just a funny STEREOTYPE!" His lady hung her head low, and said, "They are HIS friends, not mine." She's alright.
