Clemson did not "pull a Clemson" this year.

Like last year, they won all the games they were favored to win in. In their two losses, they were underdogs.
The loss to FSU was not "clemsoning" as FSU were the stronger team (reminiscent of the 90's) and are highly likely to be in the NC game. The South Carolina game was not either as it's a rivalry, and they are in the top 10 also.

Anyone who says the coots aren't a team clemson should beat and beat handily either didn't watch the game at all or is lying to themselves, the whole "clemsoning /clemsoned" thing is losing to teams you should beat and we should have thrashed the coots before but we gave them the game on a silver platter. That being said it's the one of dumbest phrase because all teams do it at some point or another and I think if anything it should be stanfording or oregoning.

we "Clemsoned" against SCU. We were the better team, but could not get out of our own way. They are soo overrated this year.

we "Clemsoned" all over ourselves in both of those games. Clemsoned right in the middle of the field and then rolled around in it for 4 quarters.
When you let a team come into your house and do what fsu did, you zoomed past "clemsoning" and went straight to "prison b!tch".

A bit harsh ...but so very true...It's" Daboing "...talking all kind of smack about how great you are and how great the team is and how you're gonna do this and do that and then ...get thoroughly spanked .." again " and then run off and hide...He's 3 and 9 against USuC and Fla. St.

Yep. We made them look better than they are imo. We played them like Nevada did. BC gave them a harder time than we did.

to fit their agenda. It's obviously unfair and childish, but if you ask them we "pulled a Clemson" against FSU by getting blown out on the big stage. Obviously, that's not what the original definition was, but they don't seem to care.
