First question for Dabo is about managing NIL dynamic...Swinney says he's always had to manage chemistry and morale and he doesn't think NIL changes that. He is sure there will be issues along the way, but he says it's been great for Clemson because they have great young men.

Swinney says he has been training them to be good young people and help them navigate the critical parts of their life and NIL is just another aspect of it.

Swinney on hiring from within.."It's best when you can but it has to be the right fit. But this was easy for me because I've never been around a guy (Wes Goodwin) more prepared. He is so deserving and he's done an amazing job."

Dabo is asked about his confidence in DJ....."He set records as a freshman and played well for us, and then last year was a struggle. But that comes with being the QB. That comes with it. Last year, as I've said many times, I've never had a young QB who didn't make mistakes. The last two (DW4 and TL18), we were better around them."

Swinney says DJ has some scars and that those will serve him well. He also says he can brag on DJ all day long but DJ still has to go out and perform.

KJ Henry at the podium....Henry says Swinney was a factor in his return, but he also wants to raise the bar for the Clemson defense. He wants to raise his level of accountability.

KJ Henry says he's glad fans are mad because of a 10-win season. He likes the standard that has been set and he hopes it stays that way, that 10 wins are unacceptable
