I had some friends and "acquaintances" back in the day that pushed the envelope a lot further than I was willing to do. I was always more... risk-adverse is probably the right term. Knew a couple guys that did time in federal prison for bringing in large amounts of coke. And a good friend of mine has a story that is wild. Flying in a small plane in Fla, following rivers and flying just above the water, so they were below the tree line and hard to spot. The feds were chasing them in a helicopter. They clipped some tree limbs, scared the chit out of fishermen in boats as they buzzed just over their heads, etc. But they got away. Crazy times.
