Mets can still pull this out, just need to get hotter bats and cooler pitching. LOL.
No matter what, making the postseason this year will be nice. Dodgers and Braves are probably in a showdown, just do not let the Astros win the WS please.

Dodgers have 106 and Houston has 102.
LosMets and the Barves both have 97 wins with 7 games to play. The Yankees have 95 wins with 8 games to play.
Interesting list on Wikipedia (LINK and yeah, yeah, I know, wikipedia...) out of 127 seasons, there have been 114 100-win seasons.
Only 9 times has there been 3 or more 100 game winners in a single season. Only in 2019 were there 4 100-game winners (this season has potential for five).
Two 100-win teams in the same division has only happened 5 times. 1980 (Yankees, Orioles), 1993 (Braves, Giants - the last season the Braves were in the NL West), 2001 (Mariners, Oakland A's), 2018 (Red Sox, Yankees) and 2021 (Dodgers, Giants). Hoping that the Mets and Braves can both join that list.
