So I went over to the NCSU message board Pack Pride to read posts on the Watson/coach shove. They are really riled up over there. They lost respect for Clemson, throat slash gestures, new thug U...
Most surprised with how much disdain there was for Boulware. Was he really taunting the crowds? Was he really that bad? Just curious because State fans complaining about classless behavior is rather comical.

Troat slashing is a penalty. Think they see Watson's Superman and others old school "skull & crossbones" as a troat slash, which they aren't.

The odd thing about players talking smack is that the fans for his team love it while the other fans hate it. I have a problem with the idiots that talk smack when they are down by 40-50 points, but when you are winning, you deserve to get away with a little. I have only watched the game once, but there was a point when he got pretty close to the stands and was giving them he!!. Good for him and I am glad to see some trash talk coming from the Tigers as long as they don't start looking disrespectful. I agree with Dabo when he says that there is a right way to win.

There's always people on both sides of the fence...some say the players need to quit with the gestures, others like that they have a (dare I say) 'swag' to them. I don't mind it so long as it's backed up by play on the field AND it doesn't go too far. Boulevare was a little off last night and I think we say more of a releasing of frustration by him than anything...

Their fans are upset because they know that we played a C- game and still won by 15 points. They are being whiners and haters cause they can clearly see the difference in talent from their wanna be a good football team and ours. They know deep down that they should have lost by 4 td's. They are being sore losers and trying to complain about anything to ease their pain.

With that said, them and when Maryland was here, were by the trashiest fan base in the ACC. It is not even close.

If you're 12-1 against a certain team, their fans will tend to become a bit agitated and defensive.
It sort of goes with the territory of approaching greatness as a program.

I think BV saw the boys get too high and mighty during and after the Miami game. I think he started getting them ready for the FSU game and let them go to the dogs to get their attention.
It didn't take many blown plays to mash them a bit and bring the real monster out. DW and crew did the rest. However it happened, BV has their undivided attention this week.
You can ### well bet if FSU does anything they've done before they won't get what they expect out of it. They'll probably slip a few by the boys but lack of effort won't be our problem.
Add that to a complete game out of our offense this week will make for a good show for Clemson Fan.
