Bizarre Random Encounter w/an Old Coot Man

Was travelling this week out of Dallas Ft. Worth Airport and wearing my Clemson Hoodie. As I walked by one of the airport volunteers he called out "hey Clemson". I turned and saw an older man in the DFW Ambassador blazer and upon closer inspection saw a coot lapel pin and figured it was him who greeted me.
He was friendly, had all his teeth, or good dentures and said he was from Columbia and went to USUCK etc. I related I was an 80s grad and asked him how he thought his team would do in the NCAAT hoops tourney pitted against Oregon. He immediately transitioned to their Wimmenz hoops and talked about some award or some garbage that Dawn Staley was getting and rambled on about their ladies hoops.
Even trying to talk baseball or football didn't yield results, this ol'deluded dude only wanted to worship Staley. I told him a had to run and was reminded yet again how odd and sick those USUCK people are.

If it's the only thing you have, I guess that explains it. You should have reminded him, that the coots will be getting their yearly spanking at Death Valley in November.

Absolutely!!! As long as they are happy and proud of their women's sports, there is no worries about them pressing their BOTs over hiring them a legit big name Head FB coach. Alls well ends well!!!

I think Dawn Staley is a very good coach, and like Dabo, has the ability to influence (thus recruit) great talent.
I TRULY would like to give her the benefit of the doubt for her personal beliefs and actions/behavior, as I do not know her life’s story and the things she has experienced. There have been (and sadly still are) people in this world that will do the wrong things to you because of your race, religion, you name it. Maybe she experienced that a lot in her life?
However, I still do not like her for things she has said or done since becoming their coach.
And yes, easy to see why coots would only want to talk about Women’s basketball these days.

unfortunately im surrounded by chickens but thankfully i know a few coots who arent fans of her either so im able to hear them talk about us. they dont usually talk about their own non wiminz hoopty ball programs. its either about us or other teams in the sec and honestly ill take that over wiminz bball
