Jeff Scott / Paul F

One - Do we , hopefully, bring back Scott to replace Grisham (who had struggled entire coaching career) and let Scott run WR/ Co coordinator ?
Two - Does Paul F also agree Sabans dynasty is over , since they lost last day as well? Asking for a friend

Whatever Coach Dabo decides is the answer to the Scott question.
Could Care less what Paul F says about Bama. They are still the team to beat in the SEC. You can bet GA fans are extremely happy they will not have to face Bama in the playoff game. Well, maybe not. Bama could still sneak into the playoff game.

There are far fewer questions regarding Bama going forward

as opposed to us:
Bama has won 6 titles in 13 years. Crazy. They didn't get blown out on both sides of the ball in either of their losses.

its in Oxford, Bama hasnt done much to make you think they can show up and win every game and Ole Miss has a solid defense and a very good pash rush.

I wouldn't mind seeing Jeff come back in some capacity, and

he was certainly a great recruiter, but Grisham hasn't "struggled his entire career".
He's been WR since 2020. When we had an elite QB he coached WRs to the most productive passing season in school history.
Exit elite QB, in comes dysfunctional QB. Then what happened?
Too much blame is being placed on our WRs and Grisham. The WRs work and get open or a step in single coverage all the time. Most of the time the QB is either not seeing them, afraid to throw a ball into 1:1 coverage, or inaccurate when he does throw. He's lost it, again.
There are (5) top-20 receivers and another top-50 on the team. That's (6) of the very best WRs in the entire country, coming out of HS. Unfortunately, they will not be able to show their potential until they have a QB who can deliver the ball. Insert Trevor, Deshaun, or even Stetson Bennett or Sam Hartman, then what happens? A much more dynamic and explosive offense, for one.
It's the chicken and egg analogy. Can't look like a solid WR group unless you have a solid QB who can get you the ball.
We don't know much about Grisham, other than he was WR coach for the most productive passing game in Clemson history for a good QB, and it's physically impossible for his group to look good when the QB is mediocre or worse. In Grisham's 2nd and 3rd seasons, DJ has more often than not been worse.
Love DJ, but he's the root cause of offensive frustration. Can't fix that with different plays either. We need to QB to be more effective. It all starts there.

Every WR who played significant starting snaps in 2020 learned their craft and developed with multiple years of instruction from Coach Scott.
The sub standard blocking by most of the current WR group has little impact from the QB group. The drops by the WR group of passes within their catch radius is on them not the QB (IMO). DJ hasn’t made it any easier with his inability to deliver passes to the better read on a play or throwing receivers open, but that doesn’t excuse the lack of development of the receivers.
