At some point the lesser schools in these 2 power...

Conferences will get squeezed out...turning these 20 team super conferences back to 16 teams...they're not going to keep sharing big money with schools like Vanderbilt and northwestern and they bring nothing to the table but traditional existence.

Why do you even say this? Don't give me the "just wait" nonsense because we'll be waiting indefinitely. Answer the question.

Schools like Northwestern, Minnesota and other "lesser" B1G schools are so culturally and academically tied into the others that extraction is near-impossible. School presidents (not athletic directors) have control over this. 2-3 programs cause very little athletic revenue dilution for the other 14, 16 or 18.

To cap it off, I believe it requires a unanimous vote of the other school presidents to expel a conferenced member. If you honestly believe that could happen purely for a small dilution of TV revenue, I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale, really cheap.
