I've just thought they were the first post-2000 band to actually pull a synth out of mothballs and channel a little new wave.

So Greenr hadn't ever listened to the Killers until recently

and there is some pretty good stuff in there.
Obviously, Mr. Brightside is great but I also enjoy When You Were Young. That one is a workout song from Les Mills Bodypump so I knew the song before I knew who sang it.
Now this one is pretty pretty good as well. Am I now Gay for liking the Killers? Thanks.

1st song is catchy, not bad, nothing I would seek out though 2nd song has something that draws me in but I have heard it a ton on the radio when I get in the car with the wife and kids 3rd song is too Lumineer-y. I feel like I wouldn't like that song.

If you're ready to finally have your big coming out, but are a little nervous about verbalizing it, you can just have your Dad sit down in the passenger seat of your VW Beetle convertible and put that on the radio.

Youse guys really like music with an ambient feel.....ain't no empty space in those songs, every square inch is filled with some sort of sound.
Not knocking it, just pickin up a trend. That same feel is why The Unforgettable Fire is one of my favorite U2 albums.

just close my eyes and picture you riding that single speed bike down to the craft beer store, resplendent in skinny jeans and large-check flannel shirt.
And remember, I said "with all due respect" first.

no single speed, I'm having a hard enough time grasping the switch to a 1x drivetrain
no skinny jeans, it's like you don't even know me and/or my THICCness
Craft beer store, sometimes, but I drive...haven't been in a few months because a grocery store near me has had an esspensive beer priced incorrectly for a month+...like 50% of everywhere else, soooo
No large check flannel shirts, just small to regular-check. But that's only because i don't have one yet...
and re: the music, is this how you treat an AIC buddy?

McLovin posted was just pop trash with a Smashing Pumpkins ripoff video but the rest wasn't bad), I'm just noting you're hipster AF on the music front. That ain't bad either.

like Greenr, i haven't really listened to much music on radio for years...if radio is on, it's generally sports (decidedly unhipster)...
I DO find a lot of stuff by creating music 'stations' on Google Music (RIP) and spotify, and I generally use those to find 'new' stuff, as I listen to my own library (which I haven't actually added to in years, due to streaming) to listen to the 'old' stuff.
so, yeah...maybe, i dunno.
what?

been right at home up at the front desk at Manifest.
DG - Can I help you?
Customer - Yeah, you guys have that new Tom Petty album?
DG - LOL, we sure do, and lots of other good funeral music too.
Customer- wait, what?
DG - No, just kidding. But seriously, have you heard of Wind Chime Menagerie? Their melodica player is second cousins to the guy who played the mellotron on Tom Petty's original demo tape. You'll love them.
Customer - ohhhh, um, cool, thanks, I guess I'll take it. thanks!

Loved em both, but the old one was on the backside of TD's and subway in a space that was a little bigger than a walk-in closet.
Flipping through used CD's looking for a score remains one of my favorite ways to waste 30-45 minutes of all time.

music. The Killers, I think, fall into Rock Radio category so I just assumed they sucked. Maybe I should re-evaluate my approach.
Yeah, they came out when I was in College and then after, but by then I was smoking dope and listening to those drug bands play 15 minute noodling solos about Llamas and Chilly Water.
