Amazing how game scores can stick in your head for a life...

I remember games from 30 yrs ago+ and can still remember the scores....

you probably know them too.....

13-3....beating #4 Georgia at home in 1981 with Herschel
82-24....absolute beat down of Wake
16-13...unfortunately a loss to NC State...first time I ever sat in the upper deck south in a game with my dad
13-9....win over OK in the Citrus Bowl
10-8....win at NC
22-15...win over Nebraska
63-17....we all know this one
22-21...another loss....last Clemson/SC my dad ever went to before he passed....we were up 21-0 at half

what are others that you remember and have stuck with you?

16-16 vs Ga (84/85 or so) Limpdawg Dooley , with Hershel in the backfield , went for the tie instead of the win at our place. Stuffed them 3 times inside our 5 and he kicked it.

52-24 ? vs Mary (83/84 or so) Rattled Boomer Esaison beyond belief...we won the 'unofficial' acc that year. Took all our timeouts away for crowd noise. Still remember refs just turning their hands up and just pointing at Boomer to play.

45-0 vs SCjr (84/85 or so) Right in the middle of the SCjr student section with an amazingly bright orange shirt on....beautiful day amongst old hs buddies who chose poorly.

63-17 Living about an hour away...we rode over about 1/2 way thru the 2nd quarter...lol Walked right in after halftime.

Gator bowl vs VaTech and Mike Vick..... he was a man amongst boys - and we got punished.

Peach bowl vs Tenn - just great all around , seats , family, big Tiger win.

31-28 vs UGA 1986 in Athens. Treadwell kicks the game winner

21-20 vs UGA 1987. Treadwell AGAIN. Remember the safety and then Terry Allen chewing up yardage for the game winner.

34-23 at FSU 1989. Wayne Simmons. Freshman. Pick SIX.

0-41 vs Syracuse in 1996. Unfortunately a loss. Sat through McNabb and Harrison toasting our secondary in the rain.
