TIL I have two spectrum accounts.

Wife has been getting emails to her email address, spectrum bill emails, with a different amount than we owe, and addressed to another name, but to her email.
So wife sends me the email, I click on it. It's not a fishing site. Log into the spectrum website and bewm, NOT MY BILL. NOT my mailing address (some address in Florida). Has my name. Has wife name on the account. Has our phone numbers and email correct. But the account number is not mine, the total is not mine, and the router and password are NOT MINE.
Called, we've called THREE times now, and twice they said they were fishing emails....NO THEY ARE NOT. I called and told the guy the issue. He swears my account is fine. I said that's good, now MAKE HER ACCOUNT FINE. Explained to him I am logged into her account, on THEIR WEBSITE. Can see her modem. Her wifi name and password. NOT GOOD. He then started audibly groaning. Hopefully that puts them on the spot to actually do something.
Anyway, they said they'd fix it. They said the SSN'swere different, which is good. Both accounts are in good standing, which is good. Dude kept telling me my account was fine. I told them to then contact THE OTHER PERSON and tell them THEIR ACCOUNT IS NOT FINE. He said "they'll work on it".
If I see bills addressed to her in another month, I will walk down to the spectrum office and talk to a customer service rep in person, and record it. Can't think what else to do. HORRIBLE. While on hold they keep saying your account security is our biggest concern and we're making sure your account information is secure. BULL####.

Can't get them to change those coming to me. I have it set for autopay, so that's fine. I get text messages telling Sally or whatever her name i,s about spectrum outages in her area. I got a spectrum text about all they were doing to prepare for the SOUTH FLORIDA hurricane. That was addressed to Sally (not the name btw). They literally have my info attached to her account, but they swear not vice versa. I can't log into my account now. Only HER CRAP SHOWS UP.

not supposed to be changed, on their end. If my wife can make my spectrum login go to someone else's account, that's impressive. She can't even make changes to my account, it's under my name.
I log in with my email and password into spectrum and I'm in this other person's account. All the contact information is correct for me, but the account number is not mine, the service is different, and the mailing address is different. That's pretty impressive if she managed that.

When you go down to the store, make sure it’s a corporate store and not an affiliate
If I wasn’t to lazy to type it all I could regale you with an ATT story that stretched out over days, (technically years if you count the first lie/mistake) and required the entire staff of the corporate store to fix.
I should bite the bullet and tell you because it involved probate etc.
