Advice about going to game with son today...

May 7, 2012, 12:13 PM

I have never gone to a Clemson baseball game. How easy is it to get tickets at the gate. Any advice for me to make this a good time for my 7 year old boy.

It should be very easy to get a ticket at the gate off someone today. Don't buy from the ticket booth. School is out and there won't be that many people there. You should be able to sit real close to home plate, if you buy off somebody. Enjoy the game and Go Tigers.

You will have no problem getting tix at the gate

This is a good game to choose, as you will probably be able to buy some pretty choice seats.

Here's a seating chart to help -

And, ticket face value is $10 for this game.

Should have ABSOLUTELY no problem finding tickets

outside the gate. More than likely, someone will give tickets for free.

And, based upon where I was last night, you could probably sit right behind home plate in the faded orange seats.

Take something for him to get signed...

I have two daughters (12 & 8) and they love to get the players to sign shirts, posters and baseballs, etc. and the players are always very nice. You're in for a great experience, nothing better than an afternoon at Tiger Field or DKS.

Well, except for the home team winning at DKS.

Take your son to get autographs after the game. Most of the players come out to the area beyond the dugout shortly after the game ends.

And sit wherever you want...if its someone's seat they'll be

nice about it. Today being a 4:00 shouldn't be too crowded at the beginning. Have fun!!
