really loudly when walking by my coworker's desk...so that 1 quarter of the time, I can crop dust her and use my aging joints as an excuse.

It's all about setting expectations and giving yourself an out.

I do the same thing, but instead of causing wear and tear on my joints, I make a really loud fart noise with my mouth. Works like a charm.
