Prior to Spurrier getting back to back wins vs Clemson in 2010, it had been 14,616 days since the coots had beaten us in back to back years.

The span ran from November 21, 1970 until November 27, 2010.

From Nixon (1st term) until Obama.

Huh, I had to look up to see how many lifetimes that would be in coot-years. The interwebz sayz:

Roosters have an average lifespan of 5 to 8 years...The life expectancy of a rooster is affected by its environment, whether it has competition, the quality of its care and if it's allowed to free range or not.

So considering the effects of living in cootlumbia, being out-competed constantly by basically everything, and frequent incarceration ... that is like 7 lifetimes. Good thing they are taking the spur away so they don't harm themselves. They do have a recording studio....
