I get not tackling the qb, but don’t blow the whistle just because someone touches him with a pinky. At least make it somewhat realistic.

I typically agree with this. I think football nowadays has gotten more and more soft. I would do away with targeting completely and soften rules like PI. That said, after watching the two backups play, I think any player that so much as breathes on DJ should have to run the bleachers.
