us that this is the best Clemson basketball team in the last 10 years. He is right, it’s the same coach and same style of losing that has been going on for 10 years.
When does Clemson begin to care about the players and hire a coach who can win a big game and a tournament game consistently?
Or maybe it’s time to sign coach Brownell to a long term contract and give his assistant coaches raises so they can coach better.
This is the weakest the ACC has been in many, many years if not forever.

Well Coach BB is the winningest coach in Clemson history

Hey they started playing better in last 5 minutes of second half and had chance to win. Even when Dawes was clearly out of bounds in last 20 seconds.
But this game was lost because they fell in love with the 3 from the first half and they showed zero fight in the first 10 minutes of the second half. Defense in second half was weak until last 5 minutes.
Though Trapp hit the big three near the end, the guy has to play better. He may have hit his ceiling a few years ago. But now he simply has to be a whole bunch smarter with the ball when he plays. He is too careless with the ball. As senior, he should have gotten much more consistent with his 2 pt and 3 pt shooting, but that has not occurred. Heck, he could not throw an inbounds pass to Simms when Trapp was unguarded.
In this game, Coach BB seemed to be in a rut. He stayed with same guys for most of second half. I thought Newman would have been good to come in and take Wong. That guy was the man for Miami in second half. And for most of the game, I thought Coach BB did not manage well, nor did he seem to make adjustments when the game got tight in first half or early in second half when Miami got the 5-7 point lead.
Poorly played game and it cost Clemson a better NCAA seed. What is worse, Clemson's record when having a "layoff or break" from basketball is not good this year. Hope this will not be a one and done NCAA trip.
Time to go to work Tigers.

Spent the first six raising money so we would not need to hide the locker room from recruits. You obvious do not follow the program to know a little history. BTW the two best coaches who bolted at the first opportunity had a marginally better winning percentage than CBB yet you want to start over just as the program is gaining steam and benefiting from the new facility. Frigging genius

Last 14 games 7-7 not based on one game. This is the same basketball program we have been watch for 11 long years.
Not the players, because there is more talent now than ever but the same program.

Coach Brownell solid guy, gives to community, moral and he knows basketball. Disconnect somewhere - 11 years. Clemson being good consistent in ACC would be so much fun. We just aren’t consistently good.

is clouding your judgment and affecting your ability to be objective.
I’m honestly tired of wasting my time debating the same tired talking points.
If you don’t like Brownell, fine. If you want a new coach, fine. But you should at least support the team. They play hard and are having a good year.
Some of us are excited about our trip to the NCAA Tournament this year, which will be just our 12th in program history. It’s too bad you’re so busy whining and complaining that you can’t enjoy it.
