Worst ACC from top to bottom in history.
Nice that we got some wins in conference, but did we improve? Or did the ACC get worse?
There are some - you know who you are - that used the ACC record to defend CBB. Saying the ACC was just beating up each other. Nope.

This ncaa dance is embarrassing. The ACC needs to get going. I don’t know if it is due to Duke and Unc relying on the star freshmen and everyone else giving up or accepting mediocrity.
Have not won a conference challenge in years when we used to dominate.
No longer.

Let’s forget those wins over FSU, Bama Purdue, and all the others who made the dance. Glad we didn’t play powerhouse usuc or you guys would really have something to hang your hats on.

Bama,Purdue, Maryland were all at the beginning of season and improved significantly as the season progressed. FSU we kinda have had their number for a win a yr recently. We closed the season 7-7 with most of those wins against quad 2 or less competition

Those are two separate questions.
I take the 5th place with a grain of salt and no, I don’t think it was spectacular.
As for the out of conf wins, - the Bama one stands out for sure and seems to be holding water. The Purdue was good, but I believe they had people out and they also did not perform in tourney. That being said, anytime you beat Purdue, it is a good win.
Was a good year out of conference. In conf, not as much.
A good year before the two tourneys for sure.
