Brad Felder faces life without baseball

“I talked to my mom ... and she told me I needed to start looking for a job, so I guess I’ll start doing that tomorrow,” he said. “It kind of sucks for it to end like that. I feel like I’ve got a lot left in my tank and I know that I could provide something for a lot of teams if they just give me a chance, but there’s not much I can do to convince them at this point to pick me up.”

Felder concluded his lone season with the Tigers with a strong performance at the NCAA Columbia Regional. He led all batters with eight hits, batted .471 (8-17) with three RBIs and four runs scored in four games and had several putouts on defense, including an outfield assist against Coastal Carolina.
