Jonathan Warren - Defensive Back
Height: 6-0   Weight: 180   Hometown: Butler, KS (Butler CC HS)   Class: 2006

Clemson was scheduled to have two unofficial visitors in this weekend, Kendrick Johnson and Jonathan Warren, but Warren was unable to make the trip. We will have news on Johnson's visit later today after he meets with Head Coach Tommy Bowden. Does Warren plan on visiting Clemson still?

"I am still going to visit Clemson, but it probably won't be this summer. I leave for Butler on August 4th. Coach Swinney said he wants me to come back on an official visit. I think it will be the weekend Clemson plays Florida State. I know that is going to be a really big game, and the crowd is going to be crazy."

Warren currently lists Clemson, Iowa State, and Florida State as his top three. Warren signed with the Seminoles out of high school, but spent last season at Butler Community College in Kansas. Do the Seminoles still hold the edge?

"No, I do not believe so. Clemson and Iowa State are recruiting me harder. I plan on making my decision around September. I would like to enroll in January, so I want the school of my choice to know I am coming plenty of time in advance. Early playing time matters a lot. I want to be able to get on the field in my first season."

We will continue to keep you updated on Warren as news comes in.
