Another Clemson D-lineman has signed his NFL contract for the next stage in his football career.
LA Rams sixth-round selection Tyler Davis has been announced among the new signings after LA's rookie mini-camp over the weekend. The deal is reported to have a slotted total value of $4.2 million with a $183,000 signing bonus (Spotrac). The Rams begin a set of offseason workouts next week and hold a mandatory minicamp June 10-12. He'll be coached by outside linebacker coach Rob Rodriguez. Thomas said they had a good meeting on his pre-draft visit. "That's the kind of coach I would need, that's the kind of coach I love," Thomas said after he was selected. "A coach who's always pushing me to my limit, never lets me get complacent and that's just the vibe that I get from him in how he would coach me. Thomas' contract has a slotted total value of $4.4 million with a $351,000 signing bonus. Baltimore Ravens selection Nate Wiggins was the first, NFL draft first-rounder of 2024 to sign a contract, which is said to be worth $12.8 million total with a $6.1 million signing bonus.
