UL's announcer calls Clemson matchup "biggest game" in school history

#5 Clemson's matchup against #3 Louisville has ESPN College GameDay in the house, and national media is spotlighting the game everywhere this week.

The significance of this game is not lost on Louisville play by play announcer Paul Rogers who has covered the Cardinals for 43 years, and he told Fox Sports' Outkick the Coverage that this matchup is the biggest game in Louisville football history.

"Biggest game, a massive game that not involved Louisville basketball," Rogers said. "There have been some big games in the past as they have won an Orange Bowl and a Sugar Bowl. Had that big Fiesta Bowl win with Harold Schembercker was here a number of years ago but what you got now is a team in a major conference with major talent climbing the ladder getting national recognition. The game against Florida State a couple of weeks ago launched them up near the top and when you do that the next game becomes bigger and I think what is at stake and the level that Louisville is playing at right now, now you could call this their biggest game."
