Kyle Parker added to Rockie's 40 man roster

Former Clemson OF/QB Kyle Parked had his Double-A contract purchased by the Colorado Rockies.

Parker was a first-round pick of the team in 2010 and has hit .293/.374/.510 through three minor league seasons. The 24-year-old is protected from being drafted in the Rule 5 Draft in December. It likely won't be long before he gets a shot with the big club.
