Clemson's 42-36 comeback win over Louisville was exciting for the national audience on television as they watched in massive numbers.

ESPN tweeted on Sunday morning that the rating for the top five matchup was a 6.0 overnight which is 25% up from the 2015 classic game between Notre Dame and Clemson.

Last night's contest was the highest rating for a Saturday night ESPN game [8 pm] since 2014.

For ESPN streaming, it was a top three regular season CFB game ever with 812k unique viewers watching 51 million minutes.
