Former Clemson WR listed #3 WR on Cardinals' depth chart

by - Assoc. Editor -

The Arizona Cardinals announced their first depth chart of the season recently and former Clemson wide receiver Jaron Brown was listed as a second-team wide receiver and starter in three-wide receiver sets.

Brown was listed as the backup for future Hall-of-Famer Larry Fitzgerald.

During Saturday's scrimmage, Brown had a 25-yard touchdown catch and a 40-yard reception with Carson Palmer. Wide receiver teammate John Brown is currently sidelined with a concussion.

In 2015, Brown had 11 catches for 144 yards (13.1 average) and a touchdown. In three seasons with the Cardinals, he caught 44 passes for 513 yards and four touchdowns, and he has also been a key member of their specials teams with 19 total tackles.

Brown was undrafted by the Cardinals back in 2013 but made the team with an impressive display in rookie camp.
