Clemson included in latest NIT projection

NYC Buckets released their latest projections on Thursday and the Tigers are included in the 2017 NIT tournament. However, his would be the sixth year in a row that Clemson would not make the NCAA tournament.

#3 seed Clemson (17-15) would face #6 seed Central Florida according to the projections. Clemson's ACC tournament ended on Wednesday with a 79-72 loss against Duke.

The schools that are on the NIT bubble according to the projections include Auburn, Memphis, Tennessee, San Francisco, and Texas Tech.

A total of three ACC schools were included in the NIT bracketology with #1 seed Syracuse, #3 seed Clemson, and #4 seed Georgia Tech.
