Clemson DE listed in Mayock's NFL draft position rankings |
NFL Network's Mike Mayock released his
position-by-position rankings 3.0 for the NFL draft on Friday.
Mayock's top 5 edge rushers were Joey Bosa, Leonard Floyd, Shaq Lawson, Noah Spence, Kamalei (T-5) and Emmanuel Ogbah (T-5). Kevin Dodd was not listed in the rankings. Lawson finished the season with 86 tackles, 25.5 tackles for loss (led the nation), 12.5 sacks and 15 quarterback hurries.
Mayock's top 5 cornerbacks listed were Jalen Ramsey, Vernon Hargreaves, Eli Apple, Artie Burns and William Jackson III.
Mackensie Alexander dropped from #5 to out of the top five rankings.
The Tigers with Alexander were the number two defense in the country in passes completed this past season holding opponents to 47.6 completion percentage. In 638 snaps this season, QBs completed 11 passes vs. Alexander.
